Poetry Open Mic

Calling all poets and poetry fans … gather in costume for poetry and prizes … join us for Poetry Open Mic.  Share poems about the Halloween scene or the horrors of everyday life.  You don’t have to follow this theme, it is only a suggestion.  Give us two or three of your polished poems or share fresh ink from your notebook. Invite a friend or two or three to cheer you on.
Books by local authors will be awarded in three prize categories: Best Dead Poet, Scary Literary, and Most Creative.
Whatever you do, do not ghost this reading! Maxwell Carrillo will be the guest facilitator for this spirited edition of the Ancient City Poets open mic.
