Elkton

Elkton sits west of St. Augustine where suburban streets start giving way to farms, woods and wider stretches of road. Most tourists pass through without realizing they have entered a community with an identity of its own.

That is part of the appeal. Elkton puts you close enough to reach downtown and the beaches without staying in the middle of either one, while giving you a look at the inland side of St. Johns County that many visitors never see.
